Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival Delhi

Arrive at the Delhi International Airport and after your immigration formalities and baggage collection, proceed towards the main arrival hall. Meet our representative/your tour guide and proceed to your hotel of choice for check-in.

Rest of the day at leisure. Evening you have the option of visiting the Akshardham Temple.

Day 2

Delhi Sightseeing

Morning after breakfast, proceed for sightseeing tour of Delhi covering Jama Masjid, Old Delhi, Chandni Chowk, a nerve racking rickshaw ride awaits you in old Delhi. Proceed to visit Raj Ghat where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated. After which you can visit Bangla Sahab, the Sikh Temple where everyday free meal is served to more than 20,000 worshipers and visitors. Should the time permits, also visit the Lotus Temple one of the very few Bahai Temples in the world.

Return to the hotel and evening at leisure.

Day 3

Delhi - Agra

Morning after breakfast, proceed to Agra, the once capital of the Mughal empire, which lies approximately 220 kms  south of Delhi. Upon arrival in Agra visit the jaw dropping, awe-inspiring, one and only Taj Mahal, the true symbol of love. A poem of love in marble, a teardrop on the cheek of time. It has been and can be described by everyone in different manner but Taj Mahal cannot be described in words, for it is far greater than mere words. It is transcendental.

After visiting Taj Mahal proceed to visit the Red Fort where Shah Jahan was kept under house arrest, and in 1857 the sepoy mutiny was subdued. From here proceed to visit the predecessor of Taj Mahal also famous as the Baby Taj, which many believe, may have inspired the design of Taj Mahal.

Proceed to the hotel and rest of evening at leisure.

Day 4

Agra - Fatehpur Sikri - Jaipur

After breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to Fathepur Sikri, a small town 30 kms southwest of Agra, where Akbar the Great (one of the Mughal Emperors) had built a huge city with Red Sandstone which had to be abandoned due to scarcity of water. The site today is part of UNESCO World Heritage sites and is certainly worth a visit. After this visit drive to Jaipur and upon arrival check in at the hotel and rest of the evening at leisure.

Day 5

Jaipur

One of the most frequently visited cities, Jaipur offers many attractions to tourists. We will start the day by visiting the Amer Fort, one of the magnificent forts of Rajasthan. On the way up to the fort experience an elephant ride. From here proceed to the City Palace of Jaipur and Observatory.

Drive back to the hotel and rest of the afternoon at leisure.

Evening you have the option to visit Choki Dhani and village theme based restaurant serving local Rajasthani cuisine in authentic Rajasthani style. In the backdrop will be performances and shows by local artists and artisans.

Day 6

Jaipur - Jodhpur

Today we drive to Jodhpur. The second largest city in Rajasthan and the historical capital of Marwar. The city is set in stark landscape of the Thar desert. The city is also known as the blue city and sun city. Upon arrival in Jodhpur we will visit the magnificent Mehrangarh Fort, Jaswant Thada and Clock Tower and the local market of Jodhpur which is very famous for textiles and spices.

After the sightseeing drive to the hotel.

Day 7

Jodhpur - Ranakpur - Udaipur

We drive towards Ranakpur which lies approximately 150 kms south of Jodhpur and is very famous for the 15th Century Jain Temple. An important pilgrimage site for Jains, the temple can also be visited by tourists after 12 pm and attracts thousands of international tourists every year. The intricate carvings inside the temple are truly mesmerizing. After the visit of the Jain temple proceed to Udaipur and check at the hotel.

Day 8

Udaipur

Udaipur, also knows as City of Lakes or Venice of the East, is one of the most beautiful and romantic cities in India. Bordering Gujrat it is surrounded by the Aravali mountain range and has seven interconnecting lakes.

We will start the day by visiting the 17th Century Jagdish temple which is situated in the heart of the city and is frequented by locals and tourists alike. From here walk to the City Palace Udaipur, which is a series of private palaces built by the erstwhile ruling family. The palace now houses museums with many antique articles, paintings, decorative furniture from the royal era.

From here we will proceed for a boat-ride on Lake Pichola and takes us past the famous Lake Palace Hotel where some shots of James Bond Octopussy were shot.

After the boat ride, drive back to the hotel and rest of the evening at leisure.

Day 9

Udaipur - Pushkar

After breakfast we drive to Pushkar, which is a holy town in Rajasthan and is known for its picturesque valleys, scenic locations and pilgrim sites. The place is also known to host the famous camel fair, which witnesses thousands of tourists. On reaching Pushkar, check-in to the hotel.

Later we leave for a sightseeing of Pushkar visiting the famous attractions of the place including Aptaeshwar Temple, Raghunath Mandir, Pushkar Lake, Brahma Temple and Old Rangji Temple.

After the sightseeing, return to the hotel.

Day 10

Pushkar - Delhi

Today we drive to Delhi and upon arriving in Delhi.
